Day 5 in Israel

Well it's day 5 in the Holy land, and we just got done with our second class. Yesterday we had class in the classroom that some church lets us use; however, today because the class room was not available we went outside of the wall and tried to have class there. It worked for the 1st half of class. The core studies that we are taking it the "Life of Christ" (basically harmony of the gospels) Joel Wingo is our 1st teacher of four which are Doug search, Kenny Kagawa, and Danial Peterson. The last two weeks of school we will be learning Hebrew (biblical or modern not really sure) and i don't know who is teaching it.

-Oh yeah my feet got demolished by some ants!!!

The homework so far hasn't been to bad its nice and easy. We are basically Journaling our thoughts on passages chronologically through the four Gospels. The Lord is really working on my heart through all of this showing Himself ever more clearly then before. The genealogy in both Matthew and Luke really confused me but now it is so amazing to see how the Lord really works in the Bible. One thing that stood out of our class time today is the fact that in the genealogy of Matthew there are four women mentioned. Tamar, Rehab, Bathsheba, and Ruth plus tons of other people, which if you think about it non of them were "saints". It just goes to show you that Christ came to save "ALL OF MANKIND THE GOOD THE BAD AND THE UGLY"!

Yesterday:

My bunk-mate( the guy that sleeps above me) lost a bet and had let another student cut his hair off. Man, it was a chop job and it shortly after getting his hair cut he shaved his head. That explains the picture above.

Well I have some work to do, and class in about an hour so peace be with you all.

P.S. please keep us all in your prayers!
